Treatments
How Many Treatments are Needed
A single treatment can give relief to an acute problem. With chronic or severe situations, especially those of a long duration, more treatments are required. The decision as to how many sessions is a joint one between the practitioner and patient. Most often treatment is on a weekly basis and lasts about an hour. Intake sessions take 1 ½ to 2 hours with a complete Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis, Medical and Birth History and an initial treatment. Most patients feel very relaxed after a treatment though it is not uncommon for some to feel “spacey” or for some others to feel highly energized especially within 24 hours.
